Mrs. Tami Koerber

tkoerber@rasjb.org

Tami Koerber has a passion for leading children from wonder to wisdom through the teachings of the Catholic faith and extensive experience with the classical education model. She has been in the field of classical education for more than twenty years as an administrator, teacher, and consultant. Her background also includes a decade spent in Catholic pro-life ministry supporting diocesan offices with program development.

As a believer in the power of the Catholic classical model, Tami is known as an inspirational and deeply faith driven educator and leader. She has a diverse expertise in classical teaching for all ages of children, from classroom to private tutoring. Areas of interest for Tami are faculty training and curriculum development.

Originally from Maryland, Tami comes to our Academy after having most recently served as the head of school at a classical Christian elementary school in Jackson, Wyoming. During her tenure she integrated the humanities curriculum, developed a Montessori kindergarten readiness program, and expanded music instruction.

In addition to her time in a traditional school environment, Tami served as a trained classical education consultant with Mother of Divine Grace School. In this role she guided families to teach the Catholic classical model in their home, including adapting the methodology for students with learning challenges.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts, Modern Languages and Linguistics (French and Spanish) from the University of Maryland with department honors, a certificate in French from the University of Dijon and is trained by the Gesell Institute of Child Development.
