Mr. John Mundy

I am blessed to have this opportunity to serve as the Headmaster of the Regina Academy at St. John the Baptist. We have a fine school with wonderful children, committed teachers, and very supportive parents! Our Catholic Classical education prepares our students to be “virtuous, productive leaders”. I’m driven to help everyone in our school family to do their best to give our students the very finest experience they can have.

In elementary school I found my calling as a teacher and a coach. In high school and college this calling to help others blossomed. I soon added principle to the list. I have been blessed with many opportunities to coach others to be the best people God intended them to be.

I help create a Christ-like, safe, nurturing, and challenging school experience for students. People regard me a consensus builder, dedicated to inspiring others to work together to meet students’ needs. For most of my career I’ve especially enjoyed renewing schools’ spirit and energy, leading them calmly through significant transitions and improving all aspects of the school.

My education includes a BS in Elementary Education from West Chester University, a MS in Education from the College of New Jersey, and principal certification from Lehigh University, as well as, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Throughout my life I’ve sought new knowledge by listening, observing, and attending workshops and seminars that enabled me to grow professionally and to continually adjust to the needs of my school and my profession.

I enjoy time with my family, and coaching Track and Field at Holy Ghost Prep, my alma mater. I like to be busy and effective helping others.
