Miss Jackie Pierson, MOT-OTR/L
Jackie Pierson is an occupational therapist who has worked with children in a school setting to improve and encourage their participation in the classroom, as well as providing adults with personalized solutions in home and rehab institutional settings. She completed field work in pediatric therapy where she provided applied behavioral analysis services while implementing therapeutic intervention plans to enhance the program's effectiveness. She has a BS in Exercise Science (Cum Laude) and a master's degree in Occupational Therapy (Cum Laude); she chose occupational therapy because the focus is helping others achieve their goals. Jackie is a life-long Catholic, and recently moved to Upper Black Eddy. She continues to attend Mass at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer in Landsdale with her parents and three brothers where she grew up in a family that was active in their parish community. Jackie's knowledge as an OT will be a great asset to us as we work to support our students with various issues that can impact learning.
